The MGM GrandFor anyone who hasn't been to Vegas.. the Hotels are extrememly large. In fact by the fourth day we still couldn't find our way around...our own hotel lobby! They are like massive malls in themselves. Our hotel must have had at least 10 restaurants!!
In the bottom main lobby, there was a lion habitat! Crazy eh?! (so Canadian!)
The trainers would come out with them for a couple fo hours each day.. it was pretty neat to see but also VERY sad. We actually convinced ourselves that the lions actually had a much better place to s ay attached to the back when they weren't on show.
You could walk rigfht underneath them and see them laying there sleeping..less then a meter above you!!

I loved Vegas and my favourite hotel was the New York New York too! Did you go to the Irish pub there? Great music! I was also sad seeing the lions living in a huge "aquarium", not natural at all! But it was great seeing the pics and familiar scenery! Looks like you had fun!
