Today is the first day of Spring. It always seems to blow my mind how fast time goes by. Now its Spring. One more term left at work, Dale's birthday, Mom's Birthday, Dad's Wedding, just months until our wedding. CRAZINESS! My bird feeder is already empty too!

Breaking Bird News

On Saturday, I put up a bird feeder. We are in the middle of (yes, still) landscaping , but I decided to put the feeder up in hte spot it will eventually be in, as to welcome and attract the birds. Well presto- today my first birds came. This morning they were starting to kinda perch close by, checking out the scene. But just now, several birds hvae actaully sat and ate from the feeder! YAY!
The downside= In the front yard, I planted some more wildflower seeds. I had to rake them in, and so now the birds are very much attracted to either the seeds, or some worms. Better be the later.

GRRRR...

Dale's store got broken into last night. The nice, expensive bike that was ordered in for me to ride this year...was the only bike stolen. GRRRRR.... I hate criminals and I hate the insurance system. How do we afford to pay for this bike, and now replace it? Claiming insurance would only boost the rates...GRRRRRR....

long time no bloggie

no excuses now. i am on spring break for two weeks and hope to get all caught up with my blogging. it is so nice to have a break form my class. don't get me wrong i love the class, and really each kid is wonderful;-but somehow-together- the class isn't jiving. its tough this year. a well served break for me.

not much planned for the break. i am already in spring cleaning mode. hanging pictures, re-aarranging furniture. dale adn I even went to a seed trade yesterday morning to get all of our seeds for our vegetable garden. we are really stoked. last year was our trial and error year. this year our garden will rock! i think maybe last year some crack from the neighbours kept falling in and destroying our crops. this year with the houses gone...bingo bango!
