Tuesday Tidbits on Wednesday

• the daycare front is looking good. we are going to meet with a lady next week. keep your fingers crossed for us
• looks like i will have a grade 4 class next year. i am super stoked to work closely with a great friend, co teaching and planning, even classrooms across the hall together. i go in tomorrow to meet with her so we can order our supplies for next year. back to the grindstone!
• dale-e-o hurt his back. thinking hes all cool on the dirtbike and - bango presto... a fractured vertebrae. ugh. when will mwn learn. so he is 'out' for the next bit, as i now care for two kids. jk... he has actually been pretty good, knock on wood.
• last weeks bike ride was wicked, in more ways than one. brutal uphill and an wesome downhill. i am submitting myself to this again tonight. i am proud of my committment and improvement.
• went to williams lake for ally's baby shower. good times for sure. nice to see my sisters and my neices and nephew.
• annie is eating everthing in site. she, like her mother, never knows when she is full. i feel like i feed her all day, wether we are nursing or she is trying a huge repitore of beginner foods. she'll eat anything. you name it. tonight- she will have some finely chopped spaghetti and meatballs. she has soared past the beginner mashed and seems to need more. 7 1/2 months and already a food conisore (sp?)
• annie is addicted to bananas. annie bannanie turned out to be a perfect name.
• annie loves the outdoors. she is so happy in the fresh air, especially the wind. if she is being fussy, her fav spot, and mine too, is to sit by the back door looking out onto the deck. crazy baby.
• another animal crossed my path. a blcak bear ran in front of our car. am i in for fortune or fame? what do you think?

Tuesday Tidbits

• we took annie camping for the first time in the camper. she did so well. we had a lot fun. chill'axin by a river, eating, drinking, biking, walking and eating and drinking.
• most of our veggies have sprouted in the garden- SO excited!
• i continue my biking- really pushing myself, but its fun and good for me too! dale and i had a date morning and rode crawford this morning. im exhausted and sore but now im stoked for my ladies ride there tomorrow night.
• dale taught me how to change the tube in my tire if it goes flat. gulp. hopefully i can remember.
• bachelorette started last night- LOVE it! its going to be a good seaspn.
• i have a new found love with smores. after many attempts to perfect them, i have got it down pat. yummy.
• annie got her first owie. in daddy's care might i add. she grabbed his beer can and cut her finger. lots of blood for a little cut, and then she was obsessed with the bandaid.
  
• there were hummingbirds flying all around our campsite- coming within feet of us. can they not tell their kelowna friends where the goods are at??!
• all you moms out there- don't you wish you were in photos? i think annie is going to think she grew up with just her dad!!??
  

i dont have a lot of tidbits today. our life has been filled with getting ready for camping, camping and now post camping wrap up , a.k.a. laundry.

Tuesday Tidbits

• I survived my first mothers day with flying colours. It was a spectacular day, couldn't have asked for a better time. In fact, there were several times where i just broke out into smile with pure happiness. I'm such a lucky lady! I woke up and was treated to yummy pancakes. Annie sampled too! Then low and behold on the back porch was a bike and a kids trailor to tow behind! We went for a wonderful family bike ride around downtown with a stop over for a swing at the park for the baby and then a coffee shop stop for us parents.
• I received several new Pandora Charms for my bracelet . I almost dropped dead that Dale had thought to do this! So thoughtful... that little package and some flowers were actually inside the trailor.
• FYI- happy mothers day- you can have period back now. Ugh. The universe is cruel.
• Annie passed her swim lessons, just needs to work on 'blowing bubbles'. I'm on it.
  
• I got my hair cut and coloured
• Annie's teeth continue to sprout up- the bottom two have broken through causing havoc on our household
• started an RESP for the future teacher
• i put up a hummingbird feeder on sunday and today what did my wandering eyes appear, ( not 8 reindeer) but one hummingbird already! yahooOoo!
• I signed up for a Wed night womans bike ride starting this week till the end of june. wish me luck. If you see a mowed down cyclist at the bottom of any given hill, please stop and help me.
• i found the cutest pair of sandals at aldo... they didn't have my size or colour so they ordered them for me with free delivery to my house- arrived in less than 24 hours -now thats service!
• i love Meerkat Manor. Google it- the cutest show ever.
• My daycare for september bailed. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully annie wont have to live on the streets on wed and thurs starting september

An oldie but a goodie

A little bit back, about 6 weeks ago to be exact, a new little Getz girl came into our family.
Brynn Leigh Godin.
My little sister's new baby girl.
The little girl we were all CERTAIN was going to be a boy.
She is s precious. Looks exactly like her Dad Brody.
So I call her Benjamin Button Brynn Brody...or something of the sort.

Now us three sisters each have daughters very close together ( an 'o7' baby - Rowan, an '08' Annie and now our '09' baby Brynn).

Look out boys, these cousins / ladies are hitting the streets near you in a few years.
Actually if its up to Dale, Annie will never see the streets let alone hit them.

Tuesday Tidbits

• Each week goes by SO fast! I feel like I just did my Tidbits for last week?!
• Its MAY now? Where did April go?
• My pedicure last week was Amazing.... until I got home to a cranky baby. The relaxation suddenly ended.
• Bikini waxing is preparation for childbirth
• OPI nailpolish has awesome names ... on my toes right now... "Get in Lime" and a polish a bought for Annie's Toes.. "Sweet as Annie-thing" .. wicked I know!
• I went to someone else's baby shower and realized that I dont have a baby anymore... I have a kid!
• Went to my first garage sale this year- it sucked.
• This coming Saturday is Annie's last swim lesson. I braved the bathing suit last week. Scary. The instructor informed us that this week she will get a report card. This news made my life.
• Set up our summer haven of a patio and planted our veggie garden and some pots with pansies- love it!
• Annie is all over the finger food- bananas, baby rice crackers and last night peas and chicken from our plates... absolutely awesome!
• Our renters next door are moving out. They have been there since we owned it ( A full year next week). They are awesome girls and we will miss them! They are moving out... solely by dolly... blocks to their new place!
• Annie is sleeping 9 hours at night for last week or two. Ahhhhhhhh....
