OMS ( Oh My Spider)
The other night I woke to what I consider everyone's worst 'real' nightmare.
I woke up to a tickling and kinda brushed my face. I though my hair had fallen into my face.
Since I was up I decided to go pee. On the way back I spotted something on the floor. I turned on the light... a huge spider! It then dawned on me that that huge spider had been crawling on my face and I had swatted it across the room!!!! EWWWW!!!
I HATE spiders and the thought that one was one me... made me cry. What if I hadn't woken up? Gross.
I ran to the kitchen (running at 38 weeks pregnant- okay I scurried) and got a bowl to place over top until morning. I then proceeded to look through the covers for any other evidence of fellow spider friends. Another realization occured- this spider was so massive- it didn't have any friends- who ever hung out with him had been already eaten and devoured by him. Eek!
Needless to say I have had a hard time sleeping aever since. Every brush of the sheets, every itch, sends me into a whirlwind. I don't know if I can get over this.
Words can't describe how violated I feel by that disgusting spider. Dale didn't even kill it the next morning. He laughed and managed to 'set it free' outside. It reminded me of the horrible justice system we have. Letting someone go for such a horrible crime, where the victim is left traumatized forever? How unfair.

hey heather...the house we bought in Nashville has a few huge spiders, and I'm the same way...I HATE HATE HATE SPIDERS!!!
The 1st night I was relaxing on the couch after a long day of moving our shit from storage into the house and one was crawling on my leg...
I got the exterminator to the house the following day...tee hee...Brian killed it for me but he described it as JUICY! WTF!!! If you haven't heard already Tennessee has some MASSIVE BUGS!!! If I had know that before I moved here I might have reconsidered my decision...
Just wanted you to knows I have many sleepless nights as a result of this f**king spider!!!
You brought a tear to my eye - that is so funny. I hate spiders too, and Brody refuses to kill them for me. If I'm lucky he will do what Dale does.... but that's if I'm lucky.
Remember the big gross bug in my bed at mom's? That was traumitizing for a long time too....
ok great update.... went home today for lunch and there was a spider on the wall. not ginormous, but thick.... I asked Brody to kill.....nope, he won't. I tired using the "we're having a child and we need to get the spiders" and he said his kid is going to be tough and ok with spiders :(.
