satelite saga
it has been 2 months exactly today that we lost satelite signal. it only seemed fitting that i demanded reinforcement on the issue.
after hours the other night of trying to relocate and reposition the satelite due to an overgrown tree in the front yard, i pleaded with dale to let me just call the technician to help us. for goodness sakes, take it out of my allowance. i need tv.
upon a call to bell, it appeared i was re-directed to delhi? so ridiculous trying to communicate with the man on the other end. in the end, i was given an appointment this morning where someone would come between the hours of 8-12. i am a nervous wreck about these sorts of things, some unidentified, creepy man showing up to a young lady home alone. yah, no. i convinced dale ( you must be thinking this woman is good at manipulating!) to stay home a bit longer this morning so he could be here to explain our probelm to the man and protect me.
well, 10:30 rolled around and he had to go. leaving me to my own devices. i had a million scenarios running through my mind. and of course, at 5 minutes to 12, the guy showed up.
but he was not at all what i expected. i felt like i was on desperate housewives, as this young hunky, tanned, surfer guy with aviator glasses approached the door. i am ironing a shower curtain watching and movie, and had no fears inviting him in to check out my satelite scenario. he soon got to work outside, his gorgeous smile popping back in to give me updates. i was so relieved, because it really could have been the opposite. i phoned dale just to let him know he need to not be worried, as i had a very... friendly gentleman helping me.
needless to say, he got it all figured out, and as i am typing this, i am watching tv! alleluia!

That is so funny. I wonder if you'll ever get over your fear.
That's hilarious, I'm the same way...glad it worked out in the end.
