Fireworks - Fires up the Works.

Happy Canada Day!
One of Dale and I's traditions, if it works out each year that we are in town, is to attend the fireworks put on at the lake.
We met at the end of June 2003, and one of our first dates was an awkward- holding- hands -at- the- Canada Day -firewroks- night. So cute.
So this year we walked down amongst the masses. You feel like a herd of cows being coralled into a small space.

The baby went bananas! Every time there was aloud BOOM, or a series of them, baby would kick away! It wsa really neat. Until I started to feel like a bad mother for wrecking baby's ears?!
Our little pumpkin is moving around ALL the time now, what a truly amazing feeling. As much as I am SUPER DOOPER anxious and excited to hold the little one in my arms, this feeling of him/her inside me is so timeless, I am trying to savour it for as long as possible. Well maybe not as long as possible, wrong choice of words.

When we got home from the fireworks, the dogs were ecstatic to see us. Nooker has never been very good with the loud noises, and she basically freaks right out. In fact, we found paw prints in the bathtub!? Crazy dog- thats not going to make them go away?! I should try crawling into the bathtub next time Dale snores really loud... who knows, maybe dogs know a little secret.
