SNOW! SNOW!
There was no shortage of snow at the cabin...in fact, truly amazing! A blizzard and minus 8 and drive down the mountain and into Peachland...clear as day?! Gotta love the cabin!

This snow inspired my last minute school costume for today...a Snow Angel. Throw on the ol' trusty pair of wings, grab some Christmas garland and a beautiful scarf knit by my Nana and voila... an angel in disguise this whole time... even my kids told me I was 'beautiful' today!

Wiggin' Out

We avoided any halloween parties this year by taking Corey and Katie up to the cabin...then a wig was brought out...and we got goofy!

 

Ginger the Red Nosed Reindeer

Ginger decided she wanted to be Rudolph for Halloween. I commended her on the thrifty choice, as we can also make full use out of it during the holiday season.

2,000 Visitors! Wow! And just think...if i would have charged a fee.. the wedding could have been payed for! On a more serious side, thanks for all your support. I will try to keep posting, although my schedule doesn't allow for much time. This weekend, Sat. night, we are off to the cabin of our own little Halloween Party. You pretty much are automatically a monster the next morning at the cabin with no shower and a hangover....

Ginger got a new sweater from Mommy today. Its beautifully hand knit from a church bazaar...for $2.50! She loves to put it on..but then she just stands there, unsure of what to do next!

I got a Venus Fly Trap for my classroom. Tooo coool! The kids absolutely love it and are so enthrolled with plants now! We are all anxiously awaiting its first prey...although a ladybug and spider mysteriously appeared on the plant after lunch hour today....needless to say we had a little chat about 'touching' and playing with the new class pet... whose name after a long drawn out voting process is "Snappy Ducky??"

Fall is offically here! My lone little home grown pumpkin is out on the front step...awaiting his little friend to ripen in the garden.

My new white Heather plant is in the background- every Heather should have a Heather plant in their garden!!

We are getting some engagement photos taken this coming weekend at Bertram Park (cross you fingers for the rain forecast to disapate) in the nice fall leave change! excited and I will definatley be posting some of these beautiful pictures in the near bit.

Gobble - Gobble Happy Thanksgiving everyone...
As you can see...yes, I am a nerd. haha. I bought this cute turkey hat becuase my clas is memorizing a poem about a turkey and performing it infront of the school at an assembly next week. I thought what better incentive than to have a cool costume too!
I had them all try it on so I could send a picture home to their parents for Thanksgiving...
Then they made me try it on...and then I asked if one of them could take a picture...

Dale and I are heading to the cabin for the weekend. What better way to indulge in things we are thankful for! A nice wekend away form schoolwork, reno's and all the other fun things life has in store these days...I'll check back in on Monday...

Dale and were driving around the other weekend and stumbleds across a garage sale...with awesome stuff! The lady was selling this awesome antique chair, and she was like "I don't know, like two dollars?!" I was sure. And low and behold, it looks so good in my 'living room!'
