Great, this is my worst fear....
It will be interesting to see how I change after my name change this summer;hopefully for the better.

Slap me on the hand, send me to my room, take away facebook, I have been bad haven't I?

I can't seem to get back into my blog. I keep telling myself that it is such a good keepsake, so that is what keeps me going...



So some updates:



1. Less than 3 months until the big day...woswers! How time flies! I think we have just over 40 people coming, so I am assuming some just haven't handed in their reply cards. It is so exciting, probably one of my favourite parts, getting them in the mail after work each day.



2. I got a continuing, permaneant contract back at the school I have been at for 2 years, North Glenmore. Too cool! I probably will have the Grade 5 class, a straight! After teaching splits two years in a row, I won't know what to do with myself!



3. The house stuff is rockin'! I am goingt o make a slideshow so you can see the before and after deck shots. Its unbelievable!



4. West Coast Trail bound! Mid July, Dale and I take of with some friends to go do the crazy trail on the Island. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous, but have been gearing up for it a bit. SOme little hikes, going to hopefully get in a one nighter some point here too. Exciting yet fearful! It's going to be a blast though.



Thats all I can think of right now. I wil leave you witha picture of my totally fabulouso gardening shoes!My husband to be thinks they are extremely tacky, I think they are terrific. Regardless, they are sure getting their wear this year already!

I know, I know. I have been Blog negligent. I believe it is all Facebook's fault.
However, I have good news...my Dad got married a couple of weeks ago! A beautiful, quaint little gathering up at The Ridge in South East Kelowna. A wonderful ceremony, a to-die-for dinner, then an impromptu party back at our place for all the cousins!




Maggie looked gorgeous,. and I believe my Dad couldn't be happier. I am truly happy for them too. Welcome to the nut Getz family Maggie! We love you!



Look at my gorgeous nephew- couldn't be more proud.. and just think.. another little one is on the way... Jenn's due in November :)
